IPL Hair Removal

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, a medical treatment to remove unwanted hair on most body areas, including the face, back, legs and bikini line. Performed by or under the direction of board-certified physicians, IPL technology is gentle, safe and permanent.

IPL treatment involves the use of highly controlled flashes of light that target hair follicles below the skin's surface. The resulting heat from the absorbed light destroys the selected hair follicles without damaging the surrounding skin. Proven safe and effective for most skin types, IPL treatment is customized for each person.

IPL treatments are fast, involve very little discomfort and do not require anesthesia. While the side effects of IPL treatment are very minimal, you may experience a slight reddening or swelling near the treated area that typically disappears within a few hours of the treatment.
